Espejo de Agua

Espejo de Agua is a testimonial short film set in Venezuela 's Sinamaica Lagoon, where the Añú people are silently displaced due to climate change. As the ancient waters drain away and the land erodes, families are forced to migrate, looking for a brighter future. However, community leader Laura and the inhabitants of the lagoon, both inside and outside their homeland, cling to the hope that it is not too late for changes through community action. The short film is part of a broader multimedia investigation into climate displacement in Venezuela published in May 2025.
